Many copies are manufactured by companies who do not know how to fit bonnet vents, and thus end up with the vents sat on top of the bonnet and flushed out with large amounts of filler. This looks cheap and nasty. The vents in the Minicos bonnet are correctly fitted below the surface as per Escort Cosworth, and come blanked off as standard. Customers requiring functional vents must simply cutout the ends.
