Mk4 Cosworth Style Front Bumper
Description:- This bumper was
produced by our fibreglass department, and then prepared by our bodyshop
for the purpose of producing a new mould. Thus the bumper was prepared
very well as every copy would be an exact replica of this one. The old
mould was refurbished and the new "plug" was therefore never required. It
has been painted in 2 pack gloss black, and besides a couple of very minor
scratches that might even polish out, this would probably go straight on a
black car without painting. It is an excellent fit, and superb quality. It
will fit at the normal Ford Mounting points. I
guarantee you will not find a better quality Mk4 Escort Cosworth style
front bumper anywhere. The cost of producing this item was around £600.
This bumper is the same weight as a normal fibreglass bumper, and lighter
than the standard Escort bumper.
Bumper is supplied without mesh, and without lights. The lights used are
available from most accessory shops, and are in fact early Mk1 Sierra
indicators (as per all Cosworths) and fog lights which you can use
universal ones from the accessory store or genuine. New White indicators
are easily available from the same sources.
This bumper is in the style of the Escort Cosworth, but is designed to fit
a Mk4 Escort, and would fit a Mk3 with modifications. It will fit all Mk4
Escorts (Mk2 Orions), Vans, Estates, and cars of 2, 4, and 5 door. It has
the front mountings built into it, and will go straight on a straight car.
If you want a Cosworth style bumper for your car then look no further, as
this is definitely the best available anywhere at any price.
